1. Who we are

2. What you buy

A numbered spot on the Kilowall wall, which is limited to 1,000 spots. A spot displays the image, name, tagline, optional description and link you provide, on the wall and on a dedicated page (/slot/[number]). No new spot will ever be added beyond 1,000. You buy a display right, not ownership of the site, a domain, a security or any financial asset. Spots are not transferable or resellable through Kilowall at this stage.

3. What “permanent” means

Kilowall is built to stay online permanently: your spot stays on the wall for as long as Kilowall operates, with no rent, renewal or subscription. “Forever” describes that ambition; the contractual guarantee is the following. We commit to keep the wall online for at least 20 years after your purchase. If we had to shut it down earlier, we would refund the unused share of your price, pro rata over those 20 years.

4. Price and payment

The price is shown before checkout and is the price of the current tier. Prices increase as spots sell and future tiers will never be cheaper than previous ones. Payment is a one-time payment in euros, processed by Stripe. The spot you picked is held for you during checkout (30 minutes); it is assigned to you once payment is confirmed.

5. Withdrawal right

Your spot is assigned immediately after payment. When buying, you expressly ask for this immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day withdrawal right once the spot is assigned. This does not affect section 6.

6. Review, refusal and refunds

Every submission is reviewed by a human against the content policy before it is published. If your content is refused, you can submit new content. If you cannot provide compliant content, you may ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase and the spot is released. Content published and later found to break the policy (including a link that later points to forbidden content) may be removed without refund; you can then submit compliant content for the same spot.

7. Your content

You confirm you have the rights to the image, names and marks you submit and you grant Kilowall a worldwide, royalty-free license to display them on the site, in share images and in promotion of the wall. You are responsible for your content and the website you link to. We may make minor edits (e.g. fixing a typo or a broken link) and, if your link stops working for more than 30 days, display your spot without a link.

8. Referral program

Each spot owner gets a referral link. When a new buyer pays for a spot after arriving through that link, the owner earns 15% of the amount actually paid (excluding refunded or disputed payments). Commissions are paid manually by bank transfer or PayPal, at least 30 days after the sale. Self-referrals and fraudulent referrals are void. We may change or end the program for future sales at any time. You are responsible for declaring commissions you receive.

9. Liability

We do our best to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, traffic, clicks or any business result. Our total liability for a spot is limited to the price paid for it, except where the law does not allow such a limit.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. Consumers may also use the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform or a consumer mediator, and keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence. Questions or complaints: hello@kilowall.com.
